Single Moms: Come Party on the Pier

There are plenty of parties taking place this summer – from lavish boat rides to color-themed shindigs. However, finding the perfect party to suit your desired entertainment experience is what really makes the difference. After all, you want to party with a purpose. And, if your purpose is to jam to old school sounds performed live, accompanied by clean comedy in a picturesque setting, you’ll want to join Maxwell Entertainment at their 2nd Annual Party on the Pier, Saturday, August 11, 2007, from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m in Manhattan, NY.

D Train, noted for 80s and 90s hits, including “You’re the One For Me,” “Keep On,” “Something’s On Your Mind,” and “Walk on By,” will be the featured performer at The Chelsea Brewing Company at Pier 59. Talent from the Wake-Up Club on 98.7 Kiss FM will be delivering stand-up comedy as legendary and revered tri-state area dj Tommie Allen, also of 98.7 Kiss FM, spins the turntables all night long.

“Party on the Pier gives older party adults another alternative to summer fun,” insists Wayne Maxwell, CEO of Maxwell Entertainment. “It’s a beautiful experience for those 30 and up.”

Joshua Thomas enjoyed himself at last year’s party on the pier and plans to attend the event next month. “At my age, it’s hard to find a place where you know you’re going to find a mature crowd,” says Thomas, 51. “Sometimes, when you go to places, you don’t know who’s going to be there.”

In addition to the great selection of live performances and the people in attendance, Smith appreciates the ambiance and the space that the venue offers. “You can go inside and out,” he explains. “It really adds to the [experience].”

Don’t miss out on your opportunity to mingle with like-minded, mature party-goers. Tickets are $35 in advance (more at the door) and are available for purchase at www.maxwellentertainment.net or by calling 718-208-8563. Media: To schedule interviews, please call (718) 425-9092.
